Mill Creek to Jackson Creek, Deltaville, VA

Hi, Short day today. We dropped anchor in Jackson Creek at noon.  West wind all morning, but light enough that we chose to motorsail.  Spotted several schooners on their way back north after the Schooner race last week that went from Baltimore to Portsmouth.  Walked in to town from the state dock off Jackson Creek to get rid of a bag of garbage and to pick up a couple of hose clamps at the hardware store.  I suppose the Broad Creek side of Deltaville has a lot more activity but there is no anchoring.  You have to pay for a slip and we weren't ready to do it.  A guy from town drove us back to the dock!!
